Quick has some points I wnt to respond to.

Well, he brought the call for moderators on this list.
I thought it was fair game to point our that it's not
a done deal yet, and that I personally object to such
a list.
And I have changed my mind about getting involved in
this debate. I will make a post on about why I oppose
the creation of RGPM, and won't participate in it.

The same reason you are continuing the
discussion--because I think there are some points that
are worth making to the audience on this list. I
also took exception with my opinion being labelled as
uninformed.

No, since I am not putting any restrictions on what
Peter or anyone else is saying here. What we're
having is a fair and open exchange--something that
happens on an open, unmoderated list.
