Actually the only place I've seen the "must raise" rule is in Northern California. I seem to recall playing in three blind NL games where limping was allowed, either in AC or LV. Can anyone else confirm this? I kind of like the limping option, I don't think I take much advantage of it but if someone else wants to limp preflop with their aces, I have no problem allowing it.

I never said anything about a must raise rule. I said that if they wanted to open for a bigger amount than just calling, they had to raise the bet, meaning they would have to raise to 40 or more when the blinds are 10-20 and they wanted to open for more than 20.
