I've been hearing some bizzare lobbying on the radio with
respect to this. The current blurb by the opposition sounds
like they are opposed because of the huge *traffic* problem
it is supposed to create... something like "traffic in the
Bay Area is bad enough. This will make the problem worse by
orders of magnitude."  Then a side implication that there will
be slot machines everywhere. Only subdued mentions of increased
crime and the usual opposition. What gives?

They also note that Arnold (along with the police, firefighters,
etc.) is opposed to it.
