I've been hearing some bizzare lobbying on the radio with respect to this. The current blurb by the opposition sounds like they are opposed because of the huge *traffic* problem it is supposed to create... something like "traffic in the Bay Area is bad enough. This will make the problem worse by orders of magnitude." Then a side implication that there will be slot machines everywhere. Only subdued mentions of increased crime and the usual opposition. What gives?
