It's not inconceivable that I'm wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure
that Canterbury Park is not on a reservation. However, it is very close
to a reservation around Prior Lake that includes the large Mystic Lake
casino. I'm also quite sure that revenue for this place doesn't go to
any of the tribes in the area.
It's been a few years since I've been there, but the card room was
quite pleasant. My visit was during a business day, and at that time
the 15-30 was a bit tougher than you describe. Of course, this was
also before the latest boom in poker popularity.
Thanks for the trip report, Brian.
