In my professional opinion, not disinfecting an Internet-connected computer
that is known to be infected with a malicious virus is criminally negligent 
behavior.

If you won't do anything, and your employer won't do anything, then 
disconnect the damn machine.  If you won't disconnect the damn machine,
then at least wipe out its address book.

Sure, in the ocean of spam, hack attempts, and malware that we live in
it's just a drop in the bucket.  But to take such a calous attitude is,
in my opinion, unconscionable.

If I were the moderator of this mailing list, your address would have
been kicked off of it with prejudice five seconds after I read your reply.
Maybe that's just me.
