In my experience against weak opponents, "mixing up your play" is usually counter-productive, since they won't notice anyway.

Not to mention that there are plenty of opportunities to "mix up your play" that are slightly profitable or (if you're into this kind of thing) slightly unprofitable.


Calling raises with J5s is more like mixing your chips into the other guy's stack.
