Yeah. In the $50 or $100 buy-in no-limit games, I pretty much
raise with 3 hands. AA, KK and pure trash.
Say two or three people limp in for 50c. I make it $5 with J2o.
They all fold. I show J2o.
Next time, I make it $5 with KK. The guy that limped in with 99 jams,
I call and bust him 4 times out of 5.
IMPORTANT!! I don't raise with trash often. Once every 2 hours or so.
Also, if I get called. I might take one more swing at the pot on
the flop, but I generally give up pretty quickly.
The original guy mentioned mixing up your play...
I think it's okay to make odd plays sometimes, but calling with J5s
is not the way to go. Maybe calling a raise with 87s or raising
in mid position with 33 or limping in with AA UTG.
