Hi all -
I want to rig up dual external LCD displays to my Dell Inspiron 8600
laptop. Something r00ling like 3200 x 1200 or so, between the two of
'em.
My laptop has an nVidia GeForce4 4200 (Dell Mobile) display adapter.
Dell sells a port replicator that has both DVI and VGA ports, and their
documentation seems to imply that it can drive both separately.
So...
Would somebody who knows how to rig up dual external heads to laptops
please contact me off-list? If it's one sentence (like "Go buy the port
replicator and two LCD displays and good luck"), then fine. If it requires
more research, or whatever, I'm willing to pay some reasonable consulting rate,
preferably to one of our un/under-employed members.
