I must be the only one with a negative experience. I
played the 20 game on Friday night. I may not go back
to the Bay $20 game and just stick to GC. That was
the most expensive game I have been in to date. Maybe
I just got bad dealers but if so I got all of them. I
had one hour in which I was dealt LESS than 30 hands.
It was the slowest moving game I have ever been in.
The worst part was the dealers didn't seem to care or
even try to keep it moving. Of course the house
doesn't care about the speed of the game anymore now
that they get time....... Maybe the problem is that a
good portion of the $20 game players are not used to
playing in a time game so they don't realize that they
should keep the game moving.
It used to not be such a big deal when you paid the
button since if the game was slow it cost less. Now
the morons arguin over who shows first, the misdeals,
the chatty dealers who then compound it by making
mistakes all cost you money. Granted I am sure Bay101
will be fine since I had to wait almost 2 hours to get
a seat at 10pm Friday night so who knows if they even
care. So make sure you keep track of how fast your
game is actually going.
Don't get me wrong. It can still be a great game, but
so is the GC 20-40 and why would I sit in a game that
costs $14 an hour when the same game would cost $9 an
hour just down the road.......
