Re: [ba-poker] Uma Kodali

I'm pretty sure I know this player. I don't know his name, but I played a bunch of satellites for the WPT event, and I remember telling some friends about this guy that I was playing with who seems to move all in pretty much anytime he had AT or better or any pair, and that I though he was basically playing a Skalansky type of system.

I pretty much thought he was a terrible player, because he didn't really take into account things like the type of player he was reraising or anything like that. He won enough coin flips to get some chips a few times, but I never saw him win a 10K seat, and I'm pretty sure he didn't because he was still playing the $1000 buy in events this weekend. He even asked if he could rebuy in the $1000 super satellites! He wanted to buy in again after getting busted, heh!

Anyone in the BA familiar with tourney player Uma Kodali? He claims to have recently made lots of final tables in Bay101 tourneys.

The reason I ask is because he seems to be fairly sucessful playing a modified Sklansky all in strategy. He has a slightly expanded range and tempers his jams with some tourney considerations. Playing against him was like playing against a not particularly bright bot.
