In the case of a third player, I can see the collusion argument, at least
in a tourney situation. I don't think it's egregious enough to make a
rule against it, but I also don't think there should be rules against
showing your hand or saying whatever you like to influence action.
Giving advice to another player when you have a seat at the table is a
different case than giving advice to a player when you're not playing.
In the latter, it's really no different than the person in question
reading Caro's Book of Tells and learning that he should call in this
situation.
Oh, and the fistfight prevention rule is just there to keep the game
moving and minimize cardroom hassle. It's not like they care about your
health.
