Simply count the number of pots you win in a time period, and that's how
many times you paid the rake. There's probably a clever way of estimating
how many pots you'll win based on tighness, but I don't know what it is,
so you will just have to count for the next few sessions, and get an
average.
As for GC vs. Bay, I found my 20-40 results varied between the two much
more widely than can be explained by structure difference. The player
pool is very different, and the play of the game is different. That
meant, for me, that the GC game was generally about $10/hour more
profitable.
No, I don't really have a point, except to say that there are other
factors to consider besides rake.
