My strategy adjustment to the prospect of $4 coming out of every 3-6 pot
is to play 8-16 and 20-40 instead. That may seem like a facetious
comment, but I actually mean it seriously.

After a long time away from it, I've been dabbling in cardroom poker the past few weeks, and I discovered that Bay101 has moved away from a live button charge to simply raking a flat fee from the pot. Other rooms, such as Lucky Chances, still take a button charge.
In 3/6 Hold'Em, both cardrooms take $4 -- they drop both blinds at Bay101 or $3 button charge plus $1 jackpot drop at Lucky Chances.
Ignoring marginal cases such as "everyone folds to the button" or "everyone folds to the small blind", I'm curious what people's thoughts about either the relative profitability and/or appropriate strategy adjustments for these two low-limit structures might be.
