I don't remember exactly where, but my friend was telling me of a riverboat taking up to a $6 rake + $1 jackpot drop for low limit. I dropped by a few places that still had cardroom licenses in California and they were taking $2 from the BB, $1 from the SB and button each hand for a $2-4 game.

I'm sure you do, and this is probably correct. I have difficulty imagining how you'd beat such a game. Then again, somebody wrote to me via Card Player describing a Flordia Indian game where it was 10% to $5 in a $2-4 game. If that's not highway robbery...
